Here in Orange County, we are blessed. Seemingly endless days of sunshine, never too far from a beach, great restaurants, etc. One of the reasons we can give thanks is our law enforcement...I am of the opinion that our officers are some of the best in the country.
One of the great things they do every year is the burglar box. Here's how it works:
Did you buy a new tv for Christmas? New appliances, or maybe a new bike? Great! I'm sure your family will really enjoy it. Now what of those big giant boxes that held that new gift? Most people just walk those boxes out to the curb, to wait for the trash to come pick em up. What most people may not realize is that those big boxes act as calling cards to burglars who may be looking for their next target. Enter the OCSO Burglar Box.
Burglar boxes are large dumpsters, employed by Law Enforcement, and strategically placed around town, in order for residents to take those large boxes and help keep their homes safe.
